Sampang Regency is a famous tourist part that is located in the eastern part of the Java Island and it forms one of the Indonesia Java International Destination. Since this regency is in a tropical area, the tourists visiting this place are able to enjoy their trip due to the comfortable climate and variety of sightseeing places in this Indonesia Java International Destination. Some of the places that are worth visiting in the Sampang Regency are Camplong beach, Mandangin island tourism spot, recreation of Klampis reservoir, Madengan tomb, ruins of Pababaran, toroan waterfall and the ruins of Raden Segoro. Camplong beach is located at a distance of nearly eight km from the city and the roads that leads to this place are in god condition. This place can be used by tourists for resting or transiting because of its proximity to the main street of Kamal-Sumenep. The resort near this beach provides recreational facilities like swimming pools and amusement park for children making it an ideal place for stay by tourists. The ruin of Raden Segoro/Nepa Monkey Forest is situated in the Banyates district and near the Nepa village and is visited by most of the tourists. This forest has a large number of monkey population and is located near the district but from the city it is at a distance of 50km.
